Singapore shares open lower on Tuesday; STI down 0.4%
SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the Straits Times Index down 13.13 points to 3,563.94 as at 9am, as Wall Street saw a retreat from records seen at the end of last week.
Volume was 111.6 million shares worth S$105.7 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 78 to 49.
Among stocks most actively traded include QT Vascular, which was up 0.3 Singapore cent to two Singapore cents, with 35.5 million stocks changing hands. Noble Group was down 3.5 Singapore cents to 22.5 Singapore cents, with 4.4 million shares traded.
