Singapore shares open up 7.39 points on Monday

SINGAPORE share prices opened higher on Monday with the Straits Times Index (STI) up 7.39 points to 2,963.52 as at 9.03am. Wall Street extended its streak of gains in December, ending higher on Friday.
Top gainers in early morning trade included Keppel Corp, Sembcorp Marine, and SATS.
Some 104 million shares worth S$74.4 million changed hands, with gainers outnumbering losers 99 to 47.
