Singapore shares open up on Monday
SINGAPORE stocks opened 0.3 per cent higher on Monday, with the Straits Times Index rising 10.17 points to 3,350.9 as at 9.03am.
About 80.8 million shares worth S$55.3 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.68 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Magnus Energy, which was flat at S$0.001 with 25 million shares changing hands. Other actives included China Sports and Nico Steel.
Gainers outnumbered losers 99 to 22, or about nine up for every two down.
