Singapore shares resume lower after Tuesday's break; STI at 3,398.9
SINGAPORE shares resumed trading lower as at 1.01pm on Tuesday after the mid-day break, with the Straits Times Index down 20.23 points on the day and down 2.33 points from the start of the mid-day pause at 3,398.9.
About 1.52 billion shares worth S$736 million in total had changed hands over the day.
Among the most active stocks, Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) Co traded at 58 Singapore cents, up 6.4 per cent or 3.5 Singapore cents on the day.
Losers outnumbered gainers 309 to 93.
