Singapore: STI opens 0.34% higher
BUOYED by Wall Street's overnight climb after two weak sessions, the Straits Times Index rose 11.84 points or 0.34 per cent to 3,444.62 at 9.05am on Friday.
Aside from Wall Street's rally, the general election in the UK on Friday will be watched closely.
The most active stocks include Lippo Malls Trust, YuuZoo and Sino Construction.
Some 80.4 million shares worth S$78.8 million changed hands, with gainers outnumbering losers 101 to 63.
