Singapore stocks open 0.65% higher on Wall St gain

SINGAPORE shares opened higher bouyed by Wall Street's best overnight session in 2016 so far.
The Straits Times Index opened up 0.65 per cent or 17.54 points at 2,709.32 at 9.02am.
Some 58.4 million shares worth S$81.7 million changed hands, with gainers outnumbering losers 106 to 33.
The most actively traded counters included NOL, Global Logistics and Singtel.
