Singapore stocks: STI resumes Friday afternoon at 3,064.29, down 0.2%

SINGAPORE stocks resumed trading lower after Friday's lunch break, with the Straits Times Index shedding 0.2 per cent, or 5.38 points to 3,064.29 as at 1.02pm.

Losers outnumbered gainers 191 to 109, as some 814.5 million shares worth S$435.4 million in total changed hands.

The most actively traded counter was YZJ Shipbuilding with 64.57 million units traded, falling 10.95 per cent or 15 Singapore cents to S$1.22. Other actives included Asiatic with 17.22 million shares traded, down 12.5 per cent or 0.1 Singapore cent to 0.7 Singapore cent; and Rex International with 14.63 million shares changing hands down 0.97 per cent or 0.1 Singapore cent to 10.2 Singapore cents.

Among active index stocks, DBS shed 0.29 per cent or seven Singapore cents to S$24.28, while OCBC Bank inched up 0.09 per cent or one Singapore cent to S$10.71.
