Singapore stocks: STI resumes Friday afternoon at 3,573.92, down 0.7%
SINGAPORE stocks entered the afternoon trade lower, with the Straits Times Index dropping 24.81 points, or 0.7 per cent to 3,573.92 as at 1.01pm.
Losers outnumbered gainers 214 to 117, after about 777.9 million shares worth S$764.9 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counter by volume was Ezion, which rose 2.9 per cent, or 0.5 Singapore cent, with 50.6 million shares traded.
Other active stocks include Venture Corp which was down 11.7 per cent to S$25.46; and Keppel Corp which was up 1.9 per cent to S$8.22.
