Stocks to watch: Ezra, Emas Offshore, M1, StarHub, CapitaLand
THE following listed companies made material announcements before the Singapore market opened on Friday:
Ezra Holdings, Emas Offshore: Marine services firm Ezra and its subsea subsidiary Emas Offshore on Tuesday night issued identical statements saying they were in talks on "possible transactions", quickly leading to privatisation rumours in the market.
M1, StarHub: An industry-dreaded price war has emerged in Singapore's mobile data sector - even before the entry of a fourth telco - as M1 and StarHub on Thursday pushed out new data offerings one day after MyRepublic unveiled its own.
CapitaLand: The priciest units at CapitaLand's new luxury residential launch Cairnhill Nine are said to have been pre-booked, with other units attracting strong interest from buyers.
