Stocks to watch: Frasers Centrepoint, Sunright, CMC Infocomm, Vard
THE following stocks have made material announcements ahead of the stock market's opening on Monday:
Frasers Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Frasers Centrepoint Ltd, said in an interview with The Business Times that it is in talks with funds to buy assets in Europe.
Semiconductor firm Sunright reported a boost in net profit to S$3.1 million for its full year ended July 31, 2015, up from S$135,000 a year ago. This was despite revenue staying flat at S$137 million.
Communications solutions and services provider CMC Infocomm Ltd said it won S$4 million worth of contracts from Singapore telcos.
Shipbuilder Vard Holdings on Sunday announced that it has secured new contracts worth over US$100 million for the design and construction of two offshore subsea construction vessels for Dubai-based Topaz Energy and Marine.
