NEW events have taken place that may affect the following companies' share prices on Wednesday:
GMG Global: The Securities Investors Association (Singapore) reiterated on Tuesday its call for Halcyon Agri Corp to raise its offer for GMG Global. Halcyon's general offer of 0.9333 Halcyon share for every GMG share held expires on Oct 21.
United Engineers: Shares in Singapore's century-old property and construction company jumped to a 14-month high on Tuesday after OCBC Bank and an affiliate said they were reviewing options for their combined stake in the company.
Rowsley: The real estate company has received the nod from Singapore Exchange to issue new shares to fund a multimillion-dollar acquisition of hotel manager Ariva.
