Stocks to watch: Hyflux, Keppel Corp, Noble
THE following listed companies made material announcements before the Singapore market opened on Wednesday:
Hyflux: The Singapore water treatment firm has secured a letter of intent from the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone to construct the Ain Sokhna Integrated Water and Power Project in Egypt.
Keppel Corporation: Singapore's large-cap conglomerate has seen the delivery of a US$1.1 billion rig-building contract to New York-listed rig owner-operator Transocean, now twice deferred, although the former maintained its affected business unit, Keppel Fels, will be compensated by its client for the deferment.
Noble Group: The global energy firm is in the market seeking a US$2.5 billion, one-year borrowing base revolving credit facility that will refinance existing debt due later this year, banking sources told Thomson Reuters.
