Stocks to watch: Keppel Corp, Emas Offshore, Ezra
THE following companies have made announcements that may affect trading of their shares on Wednesday:
Subsidiaries of Keppel Corporation's Keppel Land have engaged in a share swap arrangement with a Vietnamese real estate company that will end up with the two of them swapping full ownership of two units. One will see Keppel Land gaining stake in a unit for S$8.31 million, the other will allow a S$20.71 million sale of its stake in another unit.
A Malaysian associate of offshore contractor Emas Offshore, Perisai Petroleum Teknologi, is disputing Emas' claim to shake off a US$43 million repayment obligation from a deal made years ago, setting the stage for a potential legal battle.
