[TOKYO] Tokyo shares fell 1.62 per cent in early trade Tuesday, following Wall Street lower as investors await a Bank of Japan business confidence survey and US jobs data this week.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 285.73 points to 17,359.38 in early trade.
