Tokyo: Shares finish lower on weak oil prices

[TOKYO] Tokyo shares fell Thursday as commodity and energy-linked stocks took a hammering from weak oil prices.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange shed 0.64 per cent, or 108.65 points, to close at 16,892.33.
The broader Topix index of all first-section shares declined 0.70 per cent, or 9.59 points, at 1,354.61.
