Tokyo: Shares open 0.22% lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened 0.22 per cent lower on Wednesday, following Wall Street lower after staging a modest rebound the previous day despite worries over weak growth in China's economy.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange dropped 39.51 points to 18,167.64 in opening deals.
