[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened 0.76 per cent higher on a weak yen Monday, after strong US jobs data last week boosted the case for a December Federal Reserve interest rate hike.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange rose 145.91 points to 19,411.51 in opening deals.
