[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened 0.76 per cent higher on Thursday, following solid gains on Wall Street as the US Federal Reserve kept interest rates near zero.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 143.14 points to 19,046.16 in opening deals.
