Tokyo: Shares open flat

[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened flat Tuesday with investors looking for new direction after the benchmark index closed at a three-month high.
Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.02 per cent or 2.60 points to 17,035.03 in early trade.
The broader Topix index of all first-section shares added 0.04 per cent, or 0.54 points, to 1,344.39.
