Tokyo: Stocks close down 0.67%

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks closed 0.67 per cent lower Tuesday with the dollar's rise against the yen fizzling as the Bank of Japan held off launching new monetary easing measures.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 107.12 points to 15,783.83, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares fell 0.43 per cent, or 5.51 points, to 1,209.89. - AFP
