Tokyo: Stocks close up 1.47% after Greece deal

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks rose 1.47 per cent on a weaker yen Tuesday after Greece and its creditors agreed on a debt deal that removes a barrier to the Federal Reserve hiking US interest rates this year.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange added 295.56 points to finish at 20,385.33, while the Topix index of all first-section shares climbed 1.56 per cent, or 25.20 points, to 1,638.71.
