Tokyo: Stocks open flat, Uniqlo operator rises

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened flat on Friday tracking falls on Wall Street, but Uniqlo's parent company Fast Retailing jumped more than three percent after reporting strong annual net profits.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index inched down 0.02 per cent, or 4.00 points, to 20,950.72 in early trade while the broader Topix index was down 0.16 per cent or 2.61 points, at 1,697.52.
