Tokyo: Stocks open higher after FBI decision

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday after the FBI lifted the threat that Hillary Clinton might face charges over her private email server ahead of the US presidential election.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index gained 1.31 per cent, or 220.67 points, to 17,126.03. The broader Topix index was up 1.25 per cent, or 16.85 points, at 1,363.89.
