Tokyo: Stocks open lower on Monday

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Monday with a stronger yen pressuring exporter shares as geopolitical risks linger with North Korea's continued missile tests.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.67 per cent, or 133.50 points, to 19,750.40 in the few minutes of trade, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.54 per cent, or 8.50 points, to 1,572.21.
