Tokyo: Stocks up again in eight-day winning streak

    [TOKYO] Tokyo stocks rose again by the close Tuesday, in an eight-day winning streak that saw the benchmark index hit a fresh 15-year.

    The Nikkei 225 at the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 0.12 per cent, or 23.71 points, to 20,437.48, while the Topix index of all first-section issues rose 0.03 percent, or 0.42 points, to 1,659.57.
