Update: Singapore stocks recoup early losses, market flat by mid-morning
SINGAPORE stocks recovered from their earlier tumble, and were trading flat by mid-morning.
As at 10.37am, the Straits Times Index (STI) was down just 3.89 points or 0.12 per cent to 3,281.10 - recouping the 1.02 per cent drop at 9.01 am.
A total of 482.9 million shares worth S$449.9 million had changed hands as at 10.37am.
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) and Global Logistic Properties topped value traded. They were down 3 Singapore cents to S$1.32, and 4 Singapore cents to S$2.44, respectively.
Jardine C&C was sharply higher at S$30.96, up 91 cents or 3 per cent.
