COMPANIES still haven't figured out how to enable effective social collaboration within the enterprise, says Mike Walsh, who runs a consultancy firm called Tomorrow.
Not only is this hampering proper teamwork, he says, but companies are having problems retaining younger workers coming into the workforce.
Speaking to The Business Times on the sidelines of a StarHub event last week, Mr Walsh said: "In many organisations, the collaboration puzzle hasn't really been solved yet. Email certainly isn't the right tool, because people lose track of the conversation."
