Crowdo to launch crowdlending in Indonesia
Singapore
CROWDFUNDING platform Crowdo - which until Tuesday had been known as Crowdonomic - has announced it would launch a crowdlending (debt crowdfunding) platform for SMEs and startups in Indonesia later this year, that will allow investors to lend directly to businesses in exchange for a fixed return.
This comes just a month after Crowdo was awarded regulatory approval to facilitate equity crowdfunding in Malaysia; the launch of the two regional platforms will make it the first South-east Asian operator to offer reward, equity, and debt crowdfunding services, said the firm.
