Focus on end- user experience taking root in IT performance
THERE is a fundamental shift towards focusing on end-user experience, from hard technical metrics and silo-based assessments, when evaluating business IT solutions, says Doug Roberts, managing partner of product strategy for global IT network solutions provider Fluke Networks.
He adds that companies are realising that there is greater commercial value in doing this.
In an interview with BizIT, Mr Roberts explained that relying merely on quantifiable measures, such as the latency of network solutions or the health of devices, is no longer enough in determining the effectiveness of a company's IT operations.
