Hotel services provider ZUZU bags US$2m in seed funding
INDEPENDENT-HOTEL services provider ZUZU Hospitality Solutions has raised US$2 million in seed funding from investors led by Singapore-US fund Wavemaker Partners.
The funds will be used to further ZUZU's investment in its booking platform, revenue management technology and account management feature.
Other investors include Singapore-based Golden Gate Ventures, and Indonesia's Alpha JWC and Convergence Ventures, said ZUZU.
This funding round follows an earlier angel investment of US$1 million, said ZUZU, which runs a curated hotel-booking website focusing on independent hotels.
"The opportunity in front of us is big. We've already partnered with more than 150 hotels across Asia. Our model is working. Now it's time to grow. We're thankful for the support we've received this round and are eager to put it to work," said ZUZU co-founder Vikram Malhi.
