Infor hopes to win users with its slick interfaces

As the world's No 3 player, Infor is in a unique position to grow its business in comparison with its larger peers, as it has the global channel reach but not quite as much legacy drag as the top two.
As seen by the recent release of a stream of new, slick apps that seem to defy the idea of "traditional" enterprise software, the company is hoping that appealing to users with slick interfaces will trigger management decisions in favour of Infor, its president Stephan Scholl, told BizIT.
