SPEAKERS at an Internet conference have predicted that innovations in e-commerce and logistics will shape the future of South-east Asian cities.
Those who took the stage on Day 2 of Wild Digital included Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak - a surprise guest speaker - and representatives of logistics players Singapore Post, Uber and Ninja Van.
Mr Najib, in a fireside chat at the conference in the Malaysian capital on Thursday, said that Malaysian entrepreneurs had great potential to become "global champions" in the e-commerce space. "I want to push young people into e-commerce … and I want them to really succeed."
