LARRY Ellison's keynote speech on Sunday, at Oracle Open World 2015, was dry when compared to the standards set by other CEOs who have worked the crowds at the iconic Moscone Centre here. There was no jiving to music and only a few natty one-liners.
However, true to his style, Mr Ellison, who is now Oracle's executive chairman and chief technology officer (CTO) after stepping down from the job of CEO last year, did not pull any punches and neither was he diplomatic when mentioning competitors.
