[SINGAPORE] The exploding number of viewers hungry for online video in South-east Asia is an "unstoppable" force, said Rene Rechtman, Maker Studios' international president.
Mr Rechtman was explaining the video company's push into Asia, during a recent visit to Singapore.
Maker is a multi-channel network on YouTube, where it works with an extensive network of third-party content creators who put up videos on their own channels online. Maker's Los Angeles-based staff create their own content, but most of the company's revenue comes from its creator network.
