Microsoft joins Adobe to compete with Amazon in cloud products

MICROSOFT Corp is joining with Adobe Systems Inc to offer cloud- based products to their large mutual customer base, helping the software giant to better compete with leading cloud contender Amazon.com Inc.
With the partnership, Adobe will bring its creative marketing software programs like Photoshop and Illustrator to Microsoft's Azure cloud-computing service, the companies said in a statement on Monday. At the same time, Microsoft will make Adobe's marketing programs the favoured choice for its Internet-based software that manages customer relationships.
