Revolutionising the aviation industry in the information age
ACCORDING to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), aviation industry revenue has doubled over the past decade, from US$369 billion in 2004 to about US$746 billion in 2014. Global passenger traffic has seen positive growth as well, driven by the Asia Pacific region, which currently accounts for one-third of worldwide passenger traffic.
This growth is also mirrored in Singapore, where total passenger traffic at Changi Airport is seeing robust increases year after year. The airport and the signs are clear that the nation's aviation sector is poised for further growth.
