Singapore
THE innovation arm of Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) has joined its counterparts in Deutsche Telekom, Orange and Telefónica at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) at Barcelona, to launch a new brand for their alliance. Called Go Ignite, the branding gives a formal name to the alliance, formed in September last year, between Innov8 (Singtel), hub:raum (Deutsche Telekom), Orange Fab (Orange) and Telefónica Open Future (Telefónica). The objective of the alliance is to connect the startup ecosystems across Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
Go Ignite is also launching its first global call for startups to enter their projects into one of the following five categories: Internet of Things (IoT), cyber security, Big Data analytics, content delivery and customer experience enhancement.
