WITH Asia Pacific as one of its key growth markets, Telstra Global sees a lot of potential in Singapore due to its strategic location. And it has opened a new office here to house its Executive Briefing Centre under a US$20 million-plus expansion plan for Asia, Telstra's Martin Bishop said. The centre offers Telstra Global's various networking services and products to potential customers beyond core connectivity, such as IP telephony and cloud. It employs over 120 people, and strives to be its regional innovation hub.
"Currently, Singapore serves as the headquarters for South and East Asia for Telstra global sales and our product portfolio is also based here," said Mr Bishop, who is head of network applications and services.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Telstra Global is part of Telstra Corporation Limited, a leading telecommunications and information services company in Australia. Telstra Global provides customers across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas with a full breadth of holistic and end-to-end solutions including managed network services, data, voice, and satellite solutions.
