US data analytics firm buys S'pore startup
Singapore
WASHINGTON data analytics and security firm Rhodes Edge has acquired Singapore-based mobile tracking platform Folr (pronounced 'follow') for a "mid seven-figure sum", BT has learned.
Rhodes will integrate Folr's proprietary geo-location tracking technology - which lets businesses track the geographical movements of their staff, and individuals of their loved ones - into its current product offerings ROSES and RECheck, providing a "powerful, cost-effective" mobile and web system that accurately tracks assets such as people, vehicles and items.
