DRIVEN by a common market and China's emergence as a giant economic power, Southeast Asia's economy is tipped to swell to a size larger than that of the United Kingdom and Japan.
And this is likely to happen in 5-10 years, according to UOB economists Suan Teck Kin and Francis Tan.
