It is about achieving quality growth and an inclusive society
THIS year's Budget is different. There are no spectacular changes introduced to our tax system. The corporate tax rate remains at 17 per cent. The GST rate remains at 7 per cent and the much talked about increase in headline personal tax rate did not happen.
Yet, this is one Budget that will be remembered for years to come. The Budget sends a very clear signal on what we want for our future - achieving quality growth and an inclusive society.
