COE premiums fall across the board

[SINGAPORE] COE premiums ran out of steam after the strong surge two weeks ago and fell across the board in yesterday's second bidding exercise for October.
A Category A certificate of entitlement - used to register cars below 1,600cc - sank $8,111 to $76,889, while Cat B - for cars above 1,600cc - slipped $5,590 to $87,910.
Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - dropped less, just $1,600 to $92,289.
