COEs continue fall, Cat A down by over $11k

[SINGAPORE] Certificate of entitlement (COE) premiums extended their decline as the prices for most categories - with the exception of goods vehicles and buses - closed lower at the end of yesterday's bidding.

The COE for Category A (cars below 1,600cc and 130 hp) slipped from $71,335 to $60,002, while the premium for Category B (for cars above 1,600cc or 130 hp) fell from $75,010 to $70,002, on the back of an increased COE quota for the three months from May to July.

In the open category, the COE premium was $65,501, down from $73,810 in the last round of bidding in April.
