Deutsche aims to be universal bank in Asia
Forex leader to offer one-stop concept for fund raising, M&As, GTS, private bank
[SINGAPORE] Deutsche Bank is making a big push into commercial banking in Asia in order to deepen its relationship with regional corporates and in particular get a bigger share of the transaction services business.
Europe's largest bank is no longer content with being the largest foreign exchange player, it wants to become the universal bank for their clients, said Philip Lee, Deutsche Bank vice-chairman, South-east Asia, and Singapore country officer.
The bank is very committed to Asia and Singapore, said Mr Lee in a recent interview.
