[SINGAPORE] The founder of the City Harvest Church described to the court how he proceeded cautiously and acted conservatively when it came to budgeting his wife's foray into the United States music scene because the church's monies were involved.

Taking the stand in his own defence for a second day, Kong Hee, 49, recounted how he tried to negotiate for the best deal with American music producers in preparing the launch of singer Sun Ho's first English album in the US.

In early 2003, Kong was introduced to two American music producers who showed interest in working with Ms Ho.
