More Medisave contribution for civil servants
Some 85% of them to get additional 2 per cent of their pay from Jan; govt pensioners to also get something extra
Singapore
FROM next January, about 85 per cent of Singapore's 82,000 civil servants will get at least twice the amount they are already receiving in Medisave contributions from their employer.
This group, which comes under the Medisave-cum Subsidised Outpatient (MSO) scheme, currently gets an extra one per cent of their pay, capped at $70 a month, on top of their normal Medisave contribution.
