S'pore backs US alliance against ISIS
SINGAPORE supports the US-led coalition against the unrecognised militant Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) but it has yet to work out the form of backing to give.
"How we can support the American-led effort? That's something we can discuss," Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong told Singapore reporters on Thursday after wrapping up an eight-day official visit of southern China and Hong Kong.
"We've not reached a point to making a decision yet. Even how the Americans are going to pursue this and what they're going to do, they haven't quite decided yet," he said.
