MANY Singaporean youths have entrepreneurial dreams, but are often unable to turn their creative, quirky ideas into reality because they lack the technological know-how, says Chan Wen Tjun, co-founder of local startup Brackets For Change (BR4C).
It was this very observation that motivated Mr Chan, 21, and three of his peers to start BR4C early this year, the country's first youth-led initiative aimed at promoting technology savviness and technopreneurship among pre-university students.
