Technical issue hits SGX webpage

[SINGAPORE] The corporate announcements page on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) website was down most of yesterday, coming at a critical juncture at the tail end of the corporate results reporting season.

In response to queries from BT, an SGX spokeswoman said in an e-mailed statement yesterday evening: "Due to a technical issue, the corporate announcements page on www.sgx.com has been intermittently unavailable since 11am. We are working to resolve the issue and will provide an update on our website as soon as possible."

SGX said users were in the meantime advised to access company announcements through another link - http://infopub.sgx.com/SitePages/RSSAnnouncementToday.aspx
