THE negotiations are almost done and next up for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade agreement is for it to be ratified by the US Congress.
From Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's point of view, the US stands to lose a great deal if this pact involving 12 Pacific Rim countries hits a stumbling block at the ratification stage.
